It's been three years since I came to Germany for personal reasons. As I run a publishing company in South Korea, I visit bookstores and libraries in Germany often in search of good ideas for publications. Naturally, I found myself seeking out South Korean books translated into German, and I found Han Kang's The Vegetarian (Changbi) and Jeong You-jeong's Seven Years of Darkness (Eunhaengnamu).
